Box office: Tiger Zinda Hai roars past Bajrangi Bhaijaan with Rs318.55 crore nett

The film, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, continued its steady run at the box office, bagging an impressive Rs27 crore nett in its third week.

Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) is now Salman Khan’s most successful film in India. The action thriller amassed Rs318.55 crore nett so far, beating the Rs315.49 crore nett earned by his other film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), as reported by BoxOfficeIndia.com.

Tiger Zinda Hai continued its steady run at the box office, bagging an impressive Rs27 crore nett in its third week.

Made at an estimated budget of Rs150 crore, Tiger Zinda Hai was released across 4,600 screens in India. Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) was made at a budget of Rs125 crore and was released in 4,100 screens.

While Tiger Zinda Hai has leapfrogged Bajrangi Bhaijaan with the nett collections, the latter still leads in the gross domestic collection having made Rs422.13 crore. Khan’s 2016 film Sultan had made Rs414 crore. The gross India figure for Tiger Zinda Hia currently stands at Rs403.70 crore.
