P Samuthirakani and M Sasikumar to collaborate for Naadodigal 2?

Close friends M Sasikumar and P Samuthirakani have again joined hands for a sequel to 2009 film Naadodigal. According to sources, Samuthirakani will produce and direct the film, while Sasikumar will play the lead.

The film is said to go on floors in February.

Sasikumar has been going through a rough phase with the death of his relative, producer Ashok Kumar, who allegedly committed suicide in 2017.

While both are actor-directors, this is the duo's third collaboration wherein Samuthirakani take the director's chair and Sasikumar plays the lead, after Naadodigal and Poraali (2011). Both the films performed well at the box office.
