Richa Chadha's Daas Dev and 3 Storeys to be released on 9 March

Actress Richa Chadha has two films ready to be released on 9 March – Sudhir Mishra’s Daas Dev and Arjun Mukherjee’s 3 Storeys. It is very rare for an actress to have two releases on a single day. 

The actress has all the reasons to be nervous. While speaking about the clash with Mid-Day, a tabloid, she said, “I am nervous and excited. An actor does not usually have two films releasing on the same day. I hope I can do justice to the two projects. I don't want the audience to get sick of me.” 

Thankfully for her, the subject and genre of both films is vastly different. Daas Dev is Mishra’s modern take on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s classic novel Devdas.

Chadda plays the character of Paro, who, in the original story, is unable to marry her lover, Devdas. 

3 Storeys has three parallel stories from a chawl. Chadha features in one of the stories and plays the character of a glamorous woman. 

But these aren’t the only films to be released on 9 March. Hate Story IV and Baa Baaa Black Sheep are also scheduled to hit the screens on the same day.
