Vishal Pandya's Hate Story IV carries forward the saga of revenge and infidelity, with Urvashi Rautela in the lead. The second song from the film, 'Boond Boond' captures the actress playing seductress, in a romantic number sung by Neeti Mohan and Jubin Nautiyal.
"Hate Story IV song: 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne' remake has better score but lacks Himesh magic"
The setting of the song seems to be a party, where Rautela's character takes her affair with Vivan Bhatena's a notch higher. The visuals seem to focus on the sudden passionate romance that develops between the two characters. However, neither actor manages to convince in their performance.
It is left to the music, composed by Arko, to manage that. The song has elements of salsa, and captures the romance through its rhythm. Neeti Mohan and Jubin Nautiyal create an effective vocal combination.
However, the composition itself is not very inspiring. It is easy on the ears and, with the visuals on screen, pleasant to watch. But it still fails to make an impact.
Hate Story IV also stars Karan Wahi, Ihana Dhillon and Gulshan Grover. The film is set to be released on 9 March 2018.
