3 Storeys song: 'Azaadiyan' a pleasant melody that carries the romance forward

Composed by Clinton Cerejo, and sung by himself and Bianca Gomes, the track is a refreshing slow search for freedom.

The soundtrack for Arjun Mukherjee's 3 Storeys is turning out to be something pleasantly different. The latest song 'Azaadiyan' contains some wonderful vocals and a slow, pleasant rhythm that might make it a great addition on a long drive.

The visuals of the song focus on the blooming romance between two couples of two different generations. While the younger one (Aisha Ahmed and Ankit Rathi) seek out the freedom outside the confines of the city, the older ones (Sharman Joshi and Masumeh Makhija) find it in quiet moments within the city. It seems quite an apt portrayal as it contrasts the evident struggle for space in a claustrophobic city with the liberating emotion of love.

The song itself is quite pleasant. Sung by Clinton Cerejo and Bianca Gomes, it has a wonderful feel to it. The steady rhythm in the background helps build the song up. The film is set in the 1990s, and the music certainly has a music video feel to it. After 'Bas Tu Hi', Cerejo seems to be finding his groove.

3 Storeys also stars Richa Chadha and Pulkit Samrat. The film will be released on 9 March.
