How would Kangana Ranaut look as Jhansi Ki Rani?
A few images had emerged earlier in which the actress appeared to be wearing attire more suited for war.
Now, the makers of Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi have revealed Ranaut's look.
The actress does not appear to be wearing her maroon saree in the traditional nauvari style. It looks more apt for an occasion.
Is this the look on the day of her marriage? That is doubtful for Rani Lakshmibai was married at the age of 14 and Ranaut looks anything but 14 in this picture.
It is difficult to gauge the occasion from the picture. Perhaps, this is a more customized look for the Rani of Jhansi?
What is certain though is that the bejewelled Ranaut looks splendid in this traditional avatar. She has an air of arrogance about her as Lakshmibai.
The picture was snapped from the sets in Junagarh, Gujarat, after the shooting for the new schedule got underway.
Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi is slated for release on 27 April. But given that the shooting is not yet complete, the makers face a challenge to release their film on time.
