Rumours doing the rounds suggest a truce between director Abhishek Kapoor and producers KriArj Entertainment over Kedarnath.

Sara Ali Khan’s debut film Kedarnath found itself in a limbo after the producer had a fallout with the director. While KriArj Entertainment blamed Kapoor for breaching the contract and dragged him to court for delaying the film, the unofficial word coming from the Kapoor camp says the delay was caused by KriArj Entertainment defaulting on payments. Rumours suggest a patch-up is on the cards with the aggrieved parties now willing to set aside their differences to get Kedarnath back on track.

KriArj Entertainment had an informal meet with journalists last evening. The occasion was meant to celebrate the production house's success. However, KriArj owners Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor could not dodge questions on Kedarnath.

“As you are aware we’ve moved the Bombay high court, but at the same time, we’re open to making moves to come together. Anything can happen,” Arora told reporters.

A source told us, “Talks are ongoing between Kapoor's team and KriArj. It would be in the best interest of the film.”

There were murmurs of Saif Ali Khan trying to mediate between the warring parties to help his daughter Sara’s maiden film get back on track. “There is no truth to such rumours. Saif is playing no role here. It is KriArj Entertainment and Kapoor who have to find a solution,” added the source.
