Actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan, who will begin his political journey from his hometown in Ramanathapuram on 21 February, will also launch his party flag the same day.
Sources say that on 21 February, the actor will arrive at APJ Kalam's House, residence of former president APJ Abdul Kalam at around 7.45am. From there, he will visit the APJ Kalam school at 8.15am.
The actor is then scheduled to meet fishermen from the region at around 8.50am at Ganesh Mahal, followed by a homage at Kalam's Memorial by around 11.10am.
At around 12.30pm, Haasan will interact with the public at the entrance to the Ramanathapuram Palace. He will then meet those from neighbouring areas such as Paramakudi and Maanamadurai before heading to Madurai where he will hoist his party's flag by 6pm.
His first public meeting after officially launching his party's flag will commence at 6.30pm at the Othakadai Grounds, opposite the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in Madurai.
Haasan himself is expected to deliver a speech at 8.10pm, where he is expected to announce his party's name, its principles and objectives.
