Director Ashutosh Gowariker’s magnum opus Jodhaa Akbar (2008) completes 10 years today. Celebrating the occasion, the filmmaker shared an unreleased poster, behind-the-scene stills from the film and wrote a message for the film’s fans.

Starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the film was based on the historical romance between the Mughal emperor Jalal-ud-din Muhammad Akbar and his wife Jodhaa, who was of Rajput origin. The film, in all its grandeur, received wide acclaim. AR Rahman’s compositions too were appreciated.
While sharing the poster on his Twitter handle, Gowariker expressed his happiness over the film still being appealing to the audiences. “It's truly an exhilarating feeling that #JodhaaAkbar is still appealing to audiences today. Not only in India but Internationally too! And I'd like to take this opportunity to THANK YOU for giving it so much love. Sharing with you an UNRELEASED POSTER #10YearsOfJodhaaAkbar,” he wrote.
Jodhaa Akbar also starred Sonu Sood, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Suhasini Mulay, Raza Murad, Poonam Sinha, Manava Naik, Ila Arun, among others.
