Kartik Aaryan awarded Best Actor trophy at Masala UAE Awards 2018

Actor Kartik Aaryan won the popular vote with audiences this year as the vigilant best friend in the Rs100 crore-hit, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018), directed by Luv Ranjan. The actor quickly rose to the top crop of actors with this film.
Aaryan recently attended the Masala UAE Awards 2018 in Dubai as a special guest where he was awarded the Best Actor trophy for his performance as Sonu in the blockbuster. The awards ceremony was held on 4 December.
In a statement, the actor stated, “I am extremely overwhelmed and delighted to be getting this recognition. This year started with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and I am delightful that its ending with me getting an award for the film. Sonu is very close to me and will always be. I’d like to extend all my love and dedicate this award to my fans!”
The actor also shared a photo with himself accepting his first Best Actor trophy on Instagram.
Aaryan will next be seen in producer Dinesh Vijan's rom-com Luka Chuppi (2019), shot in his hometown of Gwalior, with actress Kriti Sanon.
