The trailer of Ram Charan’s upcoming Telugu film Vinaya Vidheya Rama, directed by Boyapati Srinu, was unveiled on Thursday night.
After impressing critics and audiences alike with a career-best performance in Rangasthalam (2018), Ram Charan is going back to old-school commercial entertainment in Vinaya Vidheya Rama, which also stars Kiara Advani and Vivek Oberoi.
The trailer was unveiled by superstar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan's father, at the film’s pre-release event.
If you are familiar with Boyapati’s definition of commercial cinema, the trailer of Vinaya Vidheya Rama will not disappoint you, though it features Ram Charan in an over-the-top action avatar. In other words, he can be considered the new embodiment of the Angry Young Man.
A high-octane action fest, it looks like Ram Charan would have punched more people than ever in Vinaya Vidheya Rama, likely making this the most violent film of his career. He is so powerful that he says he is tired of fighting armies of junk. It would be interesting to see if Vivek Oberoi would make for a powerful villain against Ram Charan, who plays Ram Konidela in the film.
The film is gearing up for a Sankranti release in January next year. Boyapati, who has pinned high hopes on the film, would be seeking to bounce back into the reckoning after two disastrous films. Produced by DVV Danayya under the DVV Entertainments banner, the action entertainer has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
Watch the trailer below and let us know if you are looking forward to watching this film on the big screen.
