Amey Wagh teams up with Arshad Warsi in a thriller series, Asura, for the first time

Actor Amey Wagh might not have the looks for it, but that has not stopped the actor from taking on his first major role in a thriller. Wagh will be seen, alongside Arshad Warsi, in the upcoming digital series titled Asura. The series will be hosted on VOOT, and produced by Ding Entertainment.
While Wagh is no stranger to the digital space, having hosted several seasons of the hit Marathi chat show, BhaDiPa, this will be the first time he will take on a role in the 'Hinglish' digital series.

In addition to the series with Warsi, Wagh also announced two other projects on his Twitter handle. He said that 2019 will see him play a negative role in another untitled project, as well as announcing a Marathi film for the next year.
The actor recently had a small appearance in Zee5's series A Date With Saie, alongside Sai Tamhankar and Rohit Kokate.
Asura will be directed by Annirudha Sen, and will also see actors Aditya Lal, Barun Sobti, Anupriya Goenka, Sharib Hashmi, and Gaurav Arora in key roles as well.
