Kriti Sanon-Diljit Dosanjh's Arjun Patiala to open in theatres on 3 May 2019

Kriti Sanon-Diljit Dosanjh comedy, Arjun Patiala, is set to be released in theatres on 3 May 2019. The film is directed by Rohit Jugraj, produced by Dinesh Vijan and will feature Dosanjh and Varun Sharma as police officers, while Sanon plays a crime reporter. 

The film's release date was announced along with its first poster on social media. Sanon shared the poster on her feed, saying 'Ready. Steady. LOL'

The film was announced back in November 2017, and went on the floors in February earlier this year. The comedy will also mark the second collaboration between Sanon and producer Vijan, after Raabta (2017). 

The poster of the film offers a glimpse into the three elements that will play a role in the comedy, with beer bottles and microphones jutting out of the wedding flower bouquet. The beer bottles are perhaps a sly nod to the famed 'Patiala' peg. 

Sanon also has Luka Chuppi with Kartik Aryan in the lead, releasing in March 2019.
