Rahul Pakala will direct Goodachari 2, which will go on the floors mid-2019 and will hit the screens only in 2020.
At the end of Goodachari (2018), it was hinted that the franchise will continue and that Sesh will return in the second part.
Sesh told Cinestaan.com, “Even before the release of the first part, I had plans to make a trilogy. But, honestly, we wanted to take a call on the franchise based on the success of the first part. The success of the first part has given us confidence and Goodachari 2 will be bigger, badder and better.”
He went on to add that the scripting process will begin early next year and they hope to go to shoot by the end of 2019.
Goodachari, which also starred Sobhita Dhulipala, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj, was one of the most successful Telugu films of this year. The film was raved by critics and audiences alike for its writing, visuals and exquisitely shot action sequences.
