Actress Saira Banu issued a desperate plea requesting an interview with the prime minister of India, Narendra Modi, following the release of builder Samir Bhojwani. The builder was accused of forging documents claiming ownership of Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu's current residential bungalow. Bhojwani was arrested by the Economic Offences Wing early last year, but is currently out on bail.

The plea comes days after the 96th birthday of Dilip Kumar on the 11 December. The actor had been under the weather after having been diagnosed with pneumonia earlier this year.
The actor currently resides in the upscale Pali Hill neighbourhood in Bandra.
