After starring in Daddy (2017) and Paltan (2018) on the big screen, actor Arjun Rampal is headed for the digital space for his first ever web-series, The Final Call.
Rampal will play a pilot in the web-series, based on author Priya Kumar's best-seller, I Will Go With You: The Flight of a Lifetime.
The 2015 novel is a tale of adventure that takes place aboard flight SL502 whose pilot has decided to commit suicide, along with his passengers.
The book's synopsis promises that it will "take you through an escapade that will change the way you see your own life – forever".

The shoot for The Final Call recently concluded in Kashmir. The web-series is the first time the streaming platform has adapted a book to series. The popularity of Netflix's Sacred Games on Vikram Chandra's 2006 novel and its upcoming prequel series, Baahubali: Before The Beginning, based on Anand Neelakantan's 2017 novel, The Rise of Sivagami, might have pointed them in that direction.
The web-series, directed by Vijay Lalwani, is due to begin streaming on ZEE5 early next year.
