While the cameras have been conspicuously kept away from the celebrations, actress Priyanka Chopra and singer Nick Jonas have let loose at their wedding party. The couple were among the star performers at the sangeet ceremony which was held at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur on 30 November.
A guest list, which included industrialist Mukesh Ambani and family, as well as the close family of the couple, attended the 'amazing' ceremony which saw Priyanka and Nick break into dance and song.
The palace has been decked up in royal fashion, with the bride and groom expected to make a royal entry. In her recent Vogue interview, Priyanka revealed that the wedding would be grand, saying, "People will need vacations after this wedding." The interview also had Priyanka reveal that Nick will be entering the venue in royal style with a sword, and astride a horse.
The Umaid Bhawan Palace has been blockaded for security reasons, preventing entry to anyone other than invited guests of the hotel to enter the premises.
The families are expected to take part in a cricket match on Saturday, with the couple taking sides. The sangeet on Thursday saw Priyanka and Nick take the stage and perform, followed by several dance numbers from family members, including by Parineeti Chopra.
Among Nick's family, parents Denise Miller-Jonas and Paul Kevin Jonas Sr, brothers Joe and Kevin, and Joe's girlfriend Sophie Turner are attending the wedding.
A DNA report stated that Priyanka turned emotional with Nick dedicating a song to her.
The wedding will take place on Sunday, 2 December with the couple set to tie the knot in two different ceremonies on the same day.
