Home Sweet Home makers dedicate teaser to Reema Lagoo

Veteran actress Reema Lagoo passed away last year on 18 May at the age of 59. At the time, she had already shot for a few films. One of them, director Murali Nallappa’s Marathi movie Deva (2017) was released last year.

Lagoo’s last release is Hrishikesh Joshi’s Home Sweet Home. The makers have come up with a teaser dedicated to her.

The film appears to be a light-hearted drama where the late actress is playing what she is known for – a sweet and bubbly mother. The teaser features glimpses of Lagoo from various sequences. The soothing tune in the background adds to the appeal of the visuals.

Home Sweet Home also stars Mohan Joshi, Spruha Joshi, Deepti Lele and Abhishek Deshmukh. The makers have mentioned ‘Grihapravesh’ for the release date. This, coupled with the image of the door of an old mouse, makes it clear that the film is a family drama.

The film is Hrishikesh Joshi’s directorial debut. He has been a prolific actor in Marathi cinema for over 20 years. He has also acted in a few Hindi films. He was recently appreciated as the lead in Prakash Kunte’s Cycle (2018).

Home Sweet Home will be released on 28 September.
