Director Neerraj Pathak's long-pending for release Bhaiaji Superhit will finally hit the screens on 19 October this year. The makers have released a poster featuring actress Preity Zinta’s character.
Zinta is named Sapna Dubey, the wife of a Varanasi don (played by Sunny Deol). Going by the poster, Sapna seems adept at wielding guns too.
The last time she wielded a gun was in Sangharsh (1999). However, in that film, Zinta’s character was fearful of guns.
In Bhaiaji Superhit, she looks comfortable holding the gun in her left hand. The bridal look has shades of desi swag. Her character is defined as Bhaiaji’s 'dharam and garam' wife. She speaks less and fires more bullets. Her character seems like it commands respect.
Deol is playing a double role — a don and a simple man. Zinta will return to the silver screen after four years. She was last seen in a cameo role in Happy Ending (2014). Her last full-fledged role was in her production Ishkq in Paris (2013). Deol and Zinta were last seen together in Heroes (2008).
