Team behind Khwada, Baban reunite for Hyderabad Custody: Watch poster

This will be farmer-turned-filmmaker Bhaurao Karhade's third film.

After the success of Khwada (2015) and Baban (2018), director Bhaurao Nanasaheb Karhade and producers Chitraksha Films and The Folk Confluence Entertainment Group have reunited for yet another Marathi film, titled, unusually, Hyderabad Custody.

The makers have just shared the first poster of the film and it looks like they are exploring another hard-hitting subject.

The poster has the image of a police interrogation room with a couple of chairs and a table. What makes the scenario scary is the presence of a specialized belt used to beat up suspects. This one has the words ‘Meri awaaz suno’ written on it.

The producers have not made an official announcement of the cast so far. But the film’s official Facebook page has tagged artistes Abhay Chavan, Gayatri Jadhav, Devendra Gaikwad and Bhausaheb Shahaji Shinde, who were all part of Baban as well. So, it seems they are also going to be part of Hyderabad Custody.

Khwada was Bhaurao Karhade’s directorial debut. Interestingly, he is a farmer-turned-filmmaker. Khwada was about a family of shepherds and included the angle of wrestling. Baban was about two lovers (Chavan and Jadhav) from different strata of society.
