Jhataleka Malhotra joins Anmol Thakeria Dhillon in Sanjay Leela Bhansali production

Another beauty queen is joining the film industry. Former Miss India International 2014, Jhataleka Malhotra joins the Sanjay Leela Bhansali production titled Tuesdays And Fridays. The film, directed by Taranveer Singh, will also launch actress Poonam Dhillon's son, Anmol Thakeria Dhillon.

The news of Malhotra's casting was first reported by Mumbai Mirror, tabloid. Production is already underway on the film in London, England. Besides Malhotra and Anmol, Tuesdays And Fridays will also star two other young artistes, actress Reem Shaikh and actor Ibrahim Chaudhary, who play Tanya and Shawan. Malhotra and Anmol's characters are called Sia and Varun, respectively.

According to the report, the unit is currently shooting a song for the film. The action-romance will continue filming in England for a month and return to India to shoot in Mumbai.

Singh, who worked as an assistant director on Karthik Calling Karthik (2010), Jhootha Hi Sahi (2010) and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), will be making his directorial debut with the film.

Bhansali’s last film, Padmaavat (2018), starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor, overcame controversies to become one of the top earners of the year.
