Tannishtha Chatterjee's directorial debut titled Roam Rome Mein


The film, set in the city of Rome, will see Nawazuddin Siddiqui star opposite Italian actress Valentina Corti.

After Konkona Sensharma and Nandita Das, Tannishtha Chatterjee becomes the latest actress to turn director.

The title of her film has been revealed to be Roam Rome Mein.

The film will star Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Italian actress Valentina Corti. 

Produced by Eros International and Rising Star Private Limited, the film has an impressive cast of Italian artistes, including writer-actor Francesco Apolloni, Andrea Scarduzio and Urbano Barberini. 

A multilingual film, Roam Rome Mein will be shot in the city of Rome and is scheduled to be released in 2019. 

Producer Ravi Walia said in a statement, "Tannishtha is a dear friend and an immensely talented artiste. We worked together on Bhopal: A Prayer For Rain (2013), which also had an international cast. I'm delighted to be producing her directorial debut. The movie is interesting and will appeal to the Indian masses, given its international yet realistic feel.''
