Director Vishal Mihsra, who has earlier made films likes Coffe With D (2017) and the unreleased Hotel Milan (2018), has announced his third film, titled Marudhar Express. The film, that was earlier named Hum Dono Honge Kamyaab, stars Kunaal Roy Kapur and Tara-Alisha Berry.

The small-town romantic drama deals with a newly-wed couple who are pressurized by their families to have children soon after the wedding. The film highlights the plight of such couples and their struggles against society.

The poster of the film has Kapur and Berry savouring samosas while staring at a wire mesh. The image, perhaps, hints that the young couple is caged into this relationship. While Kapur’s character looks innocent and easy going, Berry’s character looks bold and adventurous.

“The intention has been to make a sweet family entertainer that can connect with the masses, yet raise vital questions relevant to the current era. I am a huge fan of Hrishikesh Mukherjee and his slice-of-life films. This film is truly inspired by his style of filmmaking. A fair share of the credit also goes to our producer Raj Kushwaha for his unconditional support,” Mishra said in a statement.

While Kapur has worked in a number of films like Delhi Belly (2011), Nautahnki Saala! (2013), Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), Action Jackson (2014) and Kaalakaandi (2018), among others, Berry was earlier seen in Mastram (2013), The Perfect Girl (2015) and Love Games (2016).

Marudhar Express is set to be released on 26 October.
