'Sujhan Majhi Re', a popular folk song from Bengal, has been recreated for Aniket Chattopadhyay’s upcoming film Hoichoi Unlimited.

The new song, set in prime locations of the Central Asian country Uzbekistan, features Dev Adhikari, Saswata Chatterjee, Kharaj Mukherjee and Arnob Mukherjee.

The song begins with a few shots of some of the historical monuments and urban locations of Uzbekistan. Next, Adhikari is seen riding in a superluxury car and entering a hotel. Inside the hotel, all the characters are shown to have passed out from excessive drinking. This particular sequence immediately reminds one of the American film The Hangover (2009).

In the entire song, the characters dance and have fun, enjoying the perks of staying in the beautiful country. This song also reveals a new talent in character actors Saswata Chatterjee and Kharaj Mukherjee as they have hardly been seen dancing in films before.

Sung by Abhijeet Bhattacharya, the song has been written by lyricist-director Raja Chanda. The lyrics ask the listener to enjoy without inhibition, to indulge in amorous activities and entertainment, retaining a subtle innocence.

Composer Savvy Gupta has primarily attempted to turn the song into a funny, feel-good track. In one of the interludes he has used folk tunes into which native dancers from Uzbekistan are seen dancing in traditional attire.

'Sujan Majhi Re' is a humorous number with comical dance moves. The song also serves as a prelude to all the entertainment the film has in store.

Hoicoi Unlimited is slated to be released during the Durga puja festival this year.
