Aditi Rao Hydari seems to have taken to Tamil cinema. Since making her debut in Mani Ratnam's Kaatru Veliyidai (2017), the actress found a place in Ratnam's upcoming Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (2018). However, Ratnam is not the only director to have noticed the actress's performances. She has now been signed on by director Mysskin for his next film.
Hydari will be paired opposite Udhayanidhi Stalin, grandson of late DMK chief M Karunanidhi, in the film. While Mysskin is known for his neo-noir style of filmmaking, the actress expressed confidence at the filmmaker's conviction.
Speaking to Times of India, a daily, Hydari said, "For me, it’s all about the director and his vision. I’ve followed Mysskin sir’s work, and I really like his style of filmmaking. His work is meaningful, and as an actress, it’s amazing to listen to him explain your character. "
The actress will also be seen alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Silambarasan Rathnasam and Arvind Swamy in the upcoming Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, to be released on 28 September 2018.
Mysskin is currently working on his acting projects in Super Deluxe and Suttu Pidika Utharavu.
Reports suggest that the director will begin work on the new project next month.
