Subodh Bhave looks determined in Aani... Dr Kashinath Ghanekar new poster

The first poster from director Abhijeet Shirish Deshpande’s Aani... Dr Kashinath Ghanekar created a buzz when it was revealed earlier this year. The second poster from the celebrated actor Kashinath Ghanekar's biopic, also generates intrigue.

This is the third time actor Subodh Bhave will be seen playing a real character in a biopic. He had earlier worked in Balgandharva (2011) and Lokmanya: Ek Yug Purush (2015). 

The new poster is quite creative. One can see Bhave’s face in the mirror similar to those that artistes use for make-up. The entire face isn’t seen but the actor’s determination is clear enough. 

As it is an outdoor scene on a mountain, it is, perhaps, based in the time when Ghanekar’s had entered films after a successfull bout in theatre. 

Ghanekar, a celebrated Marathi theatre actor, passed away in 1986 aged 47. He was also a dental surgeon. The film was earlier titled Aani...Kashinath Ghanekar, now with the addition of 'Dr' the title has changed to Aani... Dr Kashinath Ghanekar.

 While the makers haven’t revealed the rest of the cast, Aani... Dr Kashinath Ghanekar will be released 7 November during Diwali.
