Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi review: Rush to avail of ‘Happy’ hours
The film made Rs3.75 crore on Saturday (25 August) and Rs5 crore on Sunday (26 August), as per figures shared by Boxofficeindia.com. However, these figures are not enough for the film to be in safe waters for two reasons. Firstly, the opening day saw low earnings and secondly, as per trade sources, the film is made at a budget of Rs30 crore.
The total earnings of the film currently stands at Rs11.35 crore. The Happy Bhag Jayegi (2016) sequel has a challenging task in its first week, that starts today (27 August).
Anil Sharma’s Genius, which also released on 24 August, has been a disaster at the box office. Afte a dismal opening of Rs75 lakh, Utkarsh Sharma’s launch vehicle, too, made some progress over the weekend with Rs90 lakh and Rs1.35 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
