The lilting melody, wonderfully composed and written by Tanishk Bagchi, is sung by Jubin Nautiyal.

Gone are those days when actors and actresses sang to a love song in a film. These days, love songs usually play out in the background. In Mitron's second song 'Sawarne Lage' after the anti-alcohol anthem, 'This Party Is Over Now', the characters of Avni (Kritika Kamra) and Jai (Jackky Bhagnani) grow closer as they begin their food truck business.
Avni, especially, realizes that she has feelings for Jai as they spend more and more time together in this likeable track written and composed by Tanishk Bagchi. The romantic number relies a bit much on electronic sounds, it doesn’t hinder the composition much though.
The only quibble with this wonderful song is the choice of male singer on a song featuring a female character. The film uses the male version to put forward her inner monologue. It would have made more sense to use the female version sung by Nikhita Gandhi instead.
Jubin Nautiyal’s rendition is quite good and makes for good repeat listening, but it would have been more impactful to hear Gandhi’s vocals here, which strangely can’t be found online, despite being mentioned on the song’s YouTube page.
Mitron, directed by Nitin Kakkar, is due to be released on 14 September.
