The makers of Stree have released a new promotional song — ‘Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe’ — featuring actress Kriti Sanon (in a special appearance), the film's lead actor Rajkummar Rao and singer Badhsah. The first line of the song instantly reminds us of memes that had actor Amrish Puri saying '‘Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe’ that went viral on social media last year.

Staying true to the theme of the film, the spooky dance number has ghosts, skeletons and a dracula. The haveli, where the song is set, looks more like the one used in Hollywood films but is scary nevertheless.

However, ‘Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe’ is not an out-and-out horror song. Sanon’s moves are enchanting and manages to keep the viewers glued. She has done a few dance numbers in her career before but none was as energetic as this. This coupled with the catchy lyrics gives the song what it needs to get on the listeners' playlist.
Singer Nikhita Gandhi also has done a good job. She brings out the right amount of spunk in the song. Rapper Badshah and composer duo Sachin-Jigar chip in for the rap portions. Sachin-Jigar have also composed the addictive music.

Rajkummar makes an unusual appearance, sporting Dracula-like teeth. However, our attention soon is diverted from his teeth to his care-free, wild dancing.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree, also starring Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and Vijay Raaz, will hit the screens on 31 August.
