Director-producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah had a serious health scare after he was diagnosed with dengue and typhoid. Shah was admitted to a Mumbai hospital where he has been recuperating for a week.
Speaking to Cinestaan.com, actor and Shah’s wife Shefali said, “He is doing fine now. He is recovering well. He should be discharged tomorrow.”
The filmmaker recently returned from the United Kingdom after wrapping up the shoot of Namastey England. The film stars Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra. Namastey England will be released on 19 November.
Shah is returning to direction after a gap 10 years. He had last directed the Akshay Kumar-starrer Action Replay (2010).
