According to an official statement, the actress who was also seen in My Birthday Song (2018), will be playing a Latina in the film. In order to prepare for her role, she is learning some Spanish words and also trying to add a hint of Spanish accent in her English.
“Yes, I have started taking very basic Spanish lessons from a very good Spanish friend of mine. He has been teaching me how to speak English with a Spanish accent and basic day to day words I can use in my scenes,” Nora said, in an official statement. She is all ready to start shooting for Bharat in Malta.
During a recent exclusive interview with Cinestaan.com, Fatehi described her character in the film, saying, “I am playing a Latina. Little Spanish, feisty girl who works in Malta; she is loud. She has got this energetic personality about her. She meet Sunil Grover and Salman Khan when they come to Malta. The journey starts there. It’s a decent role. I am very excited and really honoured to be a part of something like Bharat. I never imagined something like this would ever happen.” She informed that she will also have a dance number in the film.
Actress Katrina Kaif was recently roped in for the project after Priyanka Chopra backed out. Bharat also stars Disha Patani.
The film is the official remake of director Yoon Je-kyoon’s South Korean film Ode To My Father (2014). Bharat will see the history of India over five decades post Independence through the eyes of Salman's character. The film will hit the screens on 5 April 2019.
