Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi title track more like a musical trailer

The title song of director Mudassar Aziz’s Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi is more like a musical trailer of the film. It adds to the information given out in the official trailer.

The track shows Bagga (Jimmy Sheirgill), Afridi (Piyush Mishra) and Khushwant Singh Gill (Jassie Gill) desperately searching for Diana Penty's 'Happy' in China. These unusual characters and the confusion bring about some funny banter between them.

The song is a peppy, addictive number that suits the situation. The idea to revive the tune used in the theme song ‘Happy Oye’ from the first film in the franchise, Happy Bhag Jayegi (2016), is a smart move by composer Sohail Sen. 

'Swag Saha Nahi Jaaye' song: Sonakshi Sinha is the happy bride on the dance floor

The song is tailor-made for singer Daler Mehndi, who gets able support from Harshdeep Kaur. But it is difficult to imagine both of them being the voice of actor Ali Fazal, who also makes an appearance in the song, for some duration. 

Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi will be released on 24 August.
