She had posted a picture on Twitter with actress Mrunmayee Deshpande and actor Adinath Kothare earlier this year, indicating that they will play the lead pair in the film.
Madhuri Dixit announces wrap up of her first production, film titled 15th August

Actress Madhuri Dixit Nene turned a film producer last year when she announced her maiden project on Independence Day (15 August). This year on the same day, she announced that the shoot of the film has been wrapped up.
Through a video on her official Twitter page, she also revealed the title of the film — 15th August.
“On last 15 August, I made an announcement of my first film as a producer. And today on 15 August, I am feeling happy to share the news that our film has been wrapped up. Do continue your good wishes and blessings like before,” she said in the video.

Dr Shriram Nene, Madhuri’s husband, is also a partner in the production house, called RnM Moving Pictures Pvt. Ltd.
The actress had shared a glimpse of the film's making in March earlier this year. She had also posted a few pictures with the protagonists of the film, Mrunmayee Deshpande and Adinath Kothare.
Earlier in the year, the Madhuri acted in her first Marathi movie, Tejas Vijay Deoskar’s Bucket List (2018).
