In Stree (2018), directed by Amar Kaushik, Rajkummar Rao's Vicky meets Shraddha Kapoor's elusive and pretty new girl visiting the town of Chanderi for puja and promptly falls for her. However, as he tries to get to know her more, Kapoor’s character is more hesitant and strangely off-the-grid with no mobile phone.

As they spend time at the carnival, it is Vicky who is the hero of every situation, until he wakes from his daydream and realizes, none of actually happened. 'Nazar Na Lag Jaaye' is a sweet song tracking the budding courtship of the protagonists in the film and it’s intriguing to know where it will lead to next.
