According to sources, portions of a song from Murugadoss's upcoming Tamil film Sarkar, that was shot in Los Vegas, has been leaked on the internet, much to the dismay of the film's makers.

A portion of the song that introduces actor Vijay in the film has been leaked by a fan, who seems to have recorded the shoot on his phone.

A few days back the filming was halted in Los Vegas as a mark of respect for veteran Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam leader M Karunanidhi, who passed away on 7 August. The shoot has now been completed and the team is heading back home. Actor Vijay, who returned earlier today (13 August), visited the resting place of the former Tamil Nadu chief minister at Marina Beach.

Things just don't seem to be going right for the filmmaker. The famed director's last Telugu film Spyder, starring Mahesh Babu, bombed at the box office.

Putting that behind him, he began work on Sarkar. As soon as the team released the film's first look poster, it ran into rough weather as it featured Vijay smoking a cigarette. The poster was subsequently taken down after former union health minister Anbumani Ramadoss lashed out at the film's team and the Tamil Nadu health department issued orders to withdraw the poster.

Even before this controversy could die down, actress Sri Reddy alleged that Murugadoss was among those who had sexually exploited her.
