Actor-director Prasad Oak to star in Abhijeet Mohan Warang's Picasso

Farzand (2018) actor Prasad Oak's latest project is titled Picasso. The actor won the National Award for Best Feature film in Marathi earlier this year for his directorial debut Kaccha Limbu (2017). He announced his casting on Twitter and stated he was "proud to be associated with this new fantastic venture".

The film's announcement with brush strokes in all bold colours, and the title Picasso, indicate that the feature could likely be related to art. This is Platoon One Films' first foray into production of Marathi films. Directed by Abhijeet Mohan Warang, the film also stars newcomer Samay Sanjeev Tambe. Shooting of Picasso begins this week on 16 August. The film's release date has not been announced yet.
