Sharat Katariya's next Sui Dhaaga: Made In India (2018) turns the focus on the men and women behind India's handicraft industry. The first poster of the film starring Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan shows the two standing proudly, with large smiles, in their little, but humble workshop.

Their work place is filled to the brim with material, thread, needles, measuring tapes, and a sewing machine — all tools of the trade. Sharma plays Mamta, an embroidery worker and while Dhawan is Mauji, a tailor. The small town story takes inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi's Swadeshi Movement and the current government's Make In India initiative.
Earlier this week, the makers and the stars launched the logo of the film, made by 15 diverse artisans in different styles across India. They plan to use them all in the promotions of the film.
Sui Dhaaga: Made In India, with music composed by Anu Malik, will be released on 28 September, close to Gandhi's birthday (2 October), a national holiday.
