Funnyman Kapil Sharma confesses to writing abusive tweets

A few of his tweets had abusive language in Hindi. Some were targeted at a journalist 'who only spread(s) negativity about me for very little money'.

Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma has admitted he wrote abusive and offensive posts on his Twitter page.

"Maine jo bhi likha tha apne dil se likha tha [Whatever I wrote was from my heart], it was my team who deleted my tweets. But mai is kutte bikaau reporter se darne wala nahi hu [I am not scared of this corrupt reporter]. He can write anything for anybody just for a few bucks. Shameless."

Besides posting the abusive tweets. Sharma lodged a complaint against the journalist of a "threat to extort and harass by a news agency on the instance of ex-managers to cause mental and emotional suffering".

The complaint said all instances of false and malicious publicity affected Sharma emotionally and he has had to seek professional counselling and take medication.

The complaint also stated that Sharma is very disturbed by comments like a "failed actor. celebrity out of control, choice of wrong life partner".
