Blackmail is made at an estimated budget of Rs20 crore, and is said to have been released in more than 1,800 screens.
The producers will hope that the positive reviews help the film's business grow over the weekend.
Meanwhile, the preceding week’s release Baaghi 2 continued to do well with Rs5 crore nett on its eight day. Baaghi 2 has so far earned Rs116.75 crore nett in its Indian business.
