Kapil Sharma files criminal complaint against entertainment website

Kapil Sharma seems to be working himself into a fury. The actor-comedian was at the centre of a Twitter storm after a series of abusive tweets were sent out from his account. While the actor immediately apologised and stated that his account had been hacked. His tweets were particularly caustic of one entertainment website which, the actor accused, had always showed him in bad light.
Today, Sharma shared documents from his complaint filed in court against the media website. Sharing the information on Twitter, Sharma wrote 'Some people just want to defame you for few bucks , but it will take ages to take a stand against the wrong ' ....I shall do it today n forever'

The complaint has been filed by Sharma's lawyer, Tanveer Nizam, in the high court. The actor have filed a complaint in court against the editor of the entertainment website, and his ex-managers, for trying to extort money. The complaint states that the news reports by the website have affected his 'mental and emotional' health.
The actor has been at the centre of controversy for the last couple of months. There were reports suggesting that the actor has been suffering from depression, which has caused him to cancel several shoots of his popular programmes.
