Samantha's look in Mahanati revealed!

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who has just delivered a big hit in Telugu with Rangasthalam (2018), on Friday disclosed her look in the much-awaited Mahanati, the biopic on yesteryear actress Savithri.

Samantha tweeted a still saying: "Really happy to be a part of such a wonderful film . I hope you love #Madhuravani as much as I loved being her #Mahanati @VyjayanthiFilms @nagashwin7 #MahanationMay9th."

In the film, Keerthy Suresh plays the central character of actress Savithri, while Samantha plays a journalist called Madhuravani.

The actress has already come in for appreciation from both the film industry and film buffs for having nailed the look of a journalist.

Actor Ram Charan, her co-star in Rangasthalam (2018), was among the first to comment about the look of the actress in the film.

He tweeted: "Yes, she is @Samanthaprabhu2, playing an unbelievable character of Madhuravani for her next movie #Mahanati. Looking further for the day #mahanationmay9th to watch it. Absolutely loved the look of @Samanthaprabhu2. Congrats to the entire team of the movie!!!"

Mahanati, which is being simultaneously made in Tamil as Nadigayar Thilagam, is directed by Ashwin Nag, who earlier made the Siddharth-Tamannaah-starrer, Yevade Subramanyam (2015). The film, which is to be released on 9 May, also features Dulquer Salmaan as Gemini Ganesan and Prakash Raj as Aluri Chakrapani.
