The first trailer of Sudhir Mishra’s Daas Dev showed that the film could be a promising political drama. But it lacked proper flow as there wasn’t a proper transition from one event to another.
However, the makers have come up with an extended trailer (a second trailer), which is much better cut and further increases your interest in the film.
In fact, this trailer puts forth the subject of the film loud and clear through a dialogue by Saurabh Shukla which translates to 'Everything can be fixed in the world – business, relationship, politics – except love'. This reminds us of the first trailer where it is mentioned once that love should be kept way from political ambitions.

Daas Dev is the modern political adaptation of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s classic novel Devdas. The film is the story of Dev (Rahul Bhat) who is forced to take over the reigns of his family political party. But he is caught between two women, Paro (Richa Chadha) and Chandni (Aditi Rao Hydari).
The film also stars veteran actor Saurabh Shukla in an important role. During an interview with Cinestaan.com, Mishra claimed that this is the best performance of Shukla’s career.
Daas Dev will be released on 20 April.
