Baaghi 2 review: Welcome to the Tiger Shroff stunt show
Though the earning has dropped over 50% from the day it was released (30 March), the number is not as bad for 3 major reasons:
— Friday was a national holiday on account of Good Friday. This helped the film bag an unexpected sum of Rs25 crore.
— It would be unfair to expect the film to conitnue earning anywhere close to this number on a working day.
— Monday experienced a bandh in a few states due to the protest against Supreme Court's ruling on SC/ST Act. Given this, the film's earning of Rs11.75 crore is impressive to say the least.
The grand total of Baaghi 2 currently stands at Rs84.75 crore. Made at a cost of Rs60 to Rs70 crore, it looks like the film has already entered the profit zone. In fact, Baaghi 2 is well on its way to cross Rs100 crore in the first week at the box office itself.
