Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain trailer: Middle-aged man on a mission to woo his wife

Romance is the staple of Hindi cinema but more often than not it is between a young couple. Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain presents something new on the platter. The heart warming trailer reveals the love story of a married middle-aged couple.

Sanjai Mishra plays a man of few words, fewer when it comes to romance. He does not express emotions and believes it his job to earn money and his wife's to handle chores at home. Their relation has nothing beyond this observation.

He is like a robot with his wife, (Ekavali Khanna) and shows no affection whatsoever. One day, the wife decides she has had enough and walks out of the house. He realizes his mistake and decides to win his better half’s heart in youngster style.

There is also a subplot including his daughter (Shivani Raghuvanshi) and her boyfriend (Anshuman Jha). The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi in an important role.

Angrezi Mein Kehte has an out-of-the-box and realistic storyline. Mishra’s character goes through a complete transformation through the film and it looks like he has handled that part effortlessly.

The only negative here is that the makers have revealed a bit too much in the trailer, which though common these days, kills intrigue.

Directed by Harish Vyas, Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain is all set to be released on 18 May.
