Director Shubhashish Bhutiani's critically acclaimed drama film is expected to release in other parts of Europe and Japan
Mukti Bhawan to be released in Belgium, France and South Korea

After travelling to various international film festivals, Mukti Bhawan is now set to be released in Belgium, France and South Korea.
Director Shubhashish Bhutiani’s critically acclaimed film will be released in France on 2 May, in South Korea on 24 May and in Belgium on 13 June. After this, the producers are also planning for the film to be released in other parts of Europe (Portugal, Spain, Germany) and Japan.
“I am so thrilled that people from all over the world are having the chance to see the film on a big screen. It is encouraging, as a first-time director, to see how people are connecting to these kind of stories, and I am so grateful to everyone who has supported and contributed to make and bring the film to audiences," said writer-director Bhutiani.
The international distribution is being looked after C International Sales.
“C International Sales, UK have done a great job for our little gem in helping find distribution worldwide. It has a been a terrific journey for the film and we are all delighted with these developments,” added Bhutiani.
Overseas, the film has been called Hotel Salvation. It has been invited to over 60 international film festivals and won 29 Awards till date, including the Filmfare award for best screenplay and two Special Mention National Awards 2016 for best film and best actor (male) for Adil Hussain.
