As Varun Dhawan turned 31 on Tuesday (24 April), Hindi film celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor and Shoojit Sircar wished him success and expressed hope that his innocence and humility will stay alive.
Varun, son of filmmaker David Dhawan, started his career as an assistant director to filmmaker Karan Johar in My Name Is Khan (2010). He made his acting debut with 2012 romantic comedy Student Of The Year and ever since has featured in films like Main Tera Hero (2014), Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), Badlapur (2015), Dilwale (2015), Dishoom (2016) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017).
Varun is currently riding high on the critical success of his latest release October.
