Director Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy was wrapped up yesterday with a bang. A grand party was thrown on the occasion, which was attended by the film’s lead pair Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, and the filmmaker. The actress left early. She was seen out by Singh, who indulged in friendly banter with the media waiting outside.

But Singh stayed on till late and, staying true to the theme of Gully Boy, delivered a number of rap performances. He was full of energy as he jammed passionately with professional rapper Vivian Divine, on whose life the film is inspired. He was also seen shaking a leg with Akhtar. It seems like Singh was surrounded by the crew and technicians who worked on the film.

The videos, which are shot on a cellphone, were shared on Instagram by a few of Singh’s fan clubs.

Known for his quirkiness, Singh jammed to the iconic naughty number ‘Sarkaylyo Khatiya Jada Lage,’ which had everyone in splits.

This is the first time Singh and Bhatt have been paired together. Gully Boy is based on the lives of Mumbai-based rappers that operate from slum areas like Dharavi. The film will be released on 19 February 2019.
