Vipul Amrutlal Shah's long overdue film Namastey England has seen a change in its release date with the romantic drama now set to hit the screens on Dussehra, 19 November, this year. The film was earlier slated for release on 7 December.
Lead actor Arjun Kapoor tweeted the new release date and also revealed a new poster.

Parineeti Chopra plays the female lead in the film. Shah, who made Namastey London (2007) with Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar, was keen to make Namastey England with the same male lead. Last year, Sonakshi Sinha had tweeted about doing the project.
However, film gossip had it that Akshay Kumar wanted a heroine he had never worked with before. So out went Sinha and in came Chopra. Thereafter, Akshay Kumar backed out citing date problems.
Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor were first seen together in Ishaqzaade (2012), the latter's debut film.
With the change in release date, Namastey England will clash with the as yet untitled Ajay Devgn-Tabu comedy and Vidyut Jamwwal’s Junglee.
