Ranveer Singh, Zoya Akhtar wrap up Gully Boy

There was cake, there was rap, and there were gifts for everyone as the team of Gully Boy wrapped up the shooting of their film.

Directed by Zoya Akhar, Gully Boy stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.

Remarkably, the shooting was completed in 78 days. Zoya Akhtar posted a short video of the wrap-up as a story on her Instagram account.

In keeping with the film's theme, the wrap-up party of Gully Boy witnessed talent galore with beatboxing and rap enthusiasts showcasing their skills and having a gala time.

The crew was surprised with gifts which were musically presented by Ranveer Singh in rap style.

Gully Boy is inspired by tales of street rappers from the slum area of Dharavi in central Mumbai. The film is scheduled for release on Valentine’s Day next year.
