Director Mahesh Manjrekar upcoming, yet untitled film went on the floors today. Last month, we had reported that Manjrekar had signed Vidyut Jammwal, and veteran actors Naseeruddin Shah and Amol Palekar for the Hindi film. Now, Shruti Haasan has joined the cast too.
Jammwal made an announcement on Twitter where he is seen posing with the director and the heroine.

The film is produced by Vijay Galani, who had earlier given a gist of the film in an article in Mumbai Mirror tabloid.
“He plays a well-educated and suave NRI, who, after returning to his hometown of Mumbai, gets caught in a tricky situation. His look completely changes in the film as he gets kicking and punching,” Galani had said.
Manjrekar had last directed Hindi film, Vaah! Life Ho To Aisi! (2005). Palekar and Shah will reunite after they last collaborated in Paheli (2005).
